                            Tom & Grace Ensz Bio

                            Picture
                            Tom and Grace Ensz serve
                            in Manaus, Brazil. Since 1992
                            they have been working in
leadership development and theological education. They
share a vision to see The
                            Wesleyan Church expand
into new states until all of
the vast country of Brazil can be reached with the
                            gospel of Jesus Christ.

Tom attended Oklahoma Wesleyan University where he
sensed God's call to be a missionary. After two short-term
mission trips, God confirmed this calling. He graduated
with a missions degree and then went on to receive an
                             M.Div at Asbury Theological Seminary.

Grace (Ury) was raised in Asia by missionary parents.
After earning her bachelor's degree in speech communications,
she went on to Asbury Theological Seminary to complete her
M.Div. There, during the annual missions conference, she
received a definite call to overseas missions.

Tom and Grace were married in 1989 and pastored in
Birmingham, Alabama, prior to going to Brazil. They have three children Anna ('93), Hudson ('95), and Gwendolyn ('00).

"I, the Lord, have called you in righteousness; I will take hold
of your hand. I will keep you and will make you to be a
covenant for the people and a light for the Gentiles"
                            (Isaiah 42:6 NIV).

                            Adam and Krista Jones Bio

                            Picture
Krista and Adam met while working in Bosnia.  Adam, who had lived there for a year and a half met Krista while she was leading a school reconstruction project sponsored by World Hope International.  After several months of "dating" long distance, Adam moved to Indianapolis and 8 months later they were married.  They have one son, Xavier ('10) who loves people and hates his car seat.  They will be moving Eastern Europe in the summer of '11 to continue the work they had been a part of in the past. Krista, who is originally from Lansing, MI, loves to bake and clean.  Adam hails from Burlington, NC loves to eat and make a mess.
I eagerly expect and hope that I will in no way be ashamed, but will have sufficient courage so that now as always Christ will be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death. For to me, to live is

Christ and to die is gain. –Philippians 1:20-21 NIV

                            Greg and Heidi Edmonds

                            Picture
                            Greg believes that
                            missions is what God
                            has been preparing
                            him for throughout
                            his life, and he has
                            sensed the call to
                            missions for many
years. He loves cross-cultural ministry and
spent a year as a youth pastor at the Wesleyan Community Church in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. “I feel like I can do nothing else,” Greg stated, “but to follow Christ’s call to ‘Go and
                            make disciples of all nations.’”

When Heidi was a teenager, she attended a youth convention
that sparked her curiosity about missions, and she went on
short-term mission trips. However, it was not until she began
leading mission trips with Greg that her involvement in missions became more serious. She asked herself what more could she do
to make a difference in the lives of people in need.

Greg and Heidi have been appointed by Global Partners to
long-term missionary service in Haiti where they desire to
be the hands and feet of Christ. They want to be able to help
restore hope in Haitians, rebuilding lives one person at a time.

“Defend the cause of the weak and fatherless; maintain the
                            rights of the poor and oppressed. Rescue the weak and needy;
deliver them from the hand of the wicked.” –Psalm 82:3-4 NIV

                            Phil and Becky Davis

                            Picture
In March 1999 Phil and Becky Davis began their service as career missionaries in Suriname, South America. During two missionary terms
in Suriname, Phil taught Bible school courses to Wesleyan pastors. Becky taught at the American Cooperative School. They both learned Dutch and built relationships with church members in Suriname.

The Davises have been reassigned to Europe and will move to Belgium in the summer of 2007. Phil?s assignment will be to pursue a doctorate as preparation for long-term ministry throughout Europe. He will also teach and encourage pastors and missionaries as needed. Leadership development is vital to the growth and continued health of the Church. Both Phil and Becky are deeply committed to leadership development
and want to help train new and emerging European leaders. They believe that God is leading them to enhance their education so that they will clearly understand the ways that Europeans understand and wrestle with their faith.

Phil and Becky have four sons: Jonathan (?88), Ryan (?90),
                            Jeremy (?94), and Matthew (?96).

"For I know the plans I have for you, " declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and future" (Jeremiah 29:11 NIV).

                            Dan & Joan Jones

                            Picture
There is a Wesleyan hospital in Zambia, and the patients who come to Zimba Mission Hospital (ZMH) expect good medical treatment. As missionary medical doctors at ZMH, it is the goal of Dan and Joan Jones to provide quality medical care every day.

With their medical ministry at ZMH, Dan and Joan have an alternative platform to present the gospel message to many people who are lost and refuse to go to church. Patients at ZMH are able to witness firsthand a demonstration of Christ’s love for them. These acts of compassion have dramatic effects on patients. It can be a life-changing event for patients to see the gospel message displayed in such a tangible way.

For over 50 years, thousands of patients have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior at ZMH. As missionary doctors at ZMH, Dan and Joan have a special privilege of fulfilling the command of Jesus “to love your neighbor” by caring for the sick.

“The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself’” (Mark 12:31a NIV).
